Researching Your Milton, Wisconsin Ancestors

Local historical societies and genealogical centers often have a limited staff and hours. To avoid a disappointing visit, schedule an appointment at a time that is convenient to both you and the organization. It is often better to inquire by letter. Be aware there is often a charge for research. 

Provide the following: full given name (maiden name), approximate birth date, approximate time living in the area, approximate location where they lived for example; Harmony, Johnstown, etc.) and the year of death is also helpful. this information may be found in oral family history, family documents, passports, letters, bible inscriptions, public records, military records, U.S. Census records, etc.
